Shurenai I applaud your efforts make game development decisions seem plausible in the universe TFP have created, you are very good. So that you can find anything useful at all is nothing short of miraculous. Moreover, because the game takes place like, 5-10 years after the zom-pocalypse began, anything useful has likely long been taken off the shelves by other survivors. But even then, the vast majority of what you'd likely find in a book store will just be burn fodder or crafting fodder. If it were an ACTUAL apocalypse, you could make a minor argument for keeping some of the non-useful books as reading material so you didn't go insane. Pretty much anything that isn't 'How to do XYZ in a survival situation' or a cook book or a book on gardening immediately becomes burnable fuel or crafting material. Pretty much anything in the romance, mystery, fiction, non fiction, graphic novel, childrens literature, picture book, whodunit, fantasy, sci fi, action, adventure, historical fiction, horror, literary fiction, suspense, thriller, biographies, history, memoirs, poetry.man thats a lot, and thats not even all thats listable. Most books you can find nowadays at any bookstore shelves are useless during the ZPocalypse.
